studio vlog 01 | art market prep, screen printing shirts at home, making handmade sculpted jewelry

Hi! I'm Shaniqua, owner of Artiens Studios

I'm an artist and small business owner based in the Philippines selling mainly handmade jewelry, art prints, stickers, temporary tattoos, and clothing. I recently just re-launched my shop after going on hiatus for a few years because of school, and now that I've finally graduated, I decided to give this another shot! Whenever I work on shop stuff, I always have videos of other small business owners working on their shop, so I figured I'd give it a shot, and maybe I can be that for someone else too!

In this vlog, I'm cramming a bunch of inventory for my first time doing 3 art markets days back-to-back happening in 2 different cities (literally from south of manila to the north)! Yes, this was all filmed in basically a day because that's how hard I needed to cram...(I didn't sleep at all) Here, you'll see me screen-printing an illustration of mine on shirts and totes (I just learned how a few days before this so I'm still pretty bad at it), making as many handmade jewelry stocks as possible, redesigning my business cards, and designing + printing signs for my market tables (I used to just write them on sticky notes bc I always forgot to do this).
