It's been a heavy week for announcements, but I had to take a moment to address the one by Acoustic Sounds regarding their 2024 release calendar for the Verve series. This has been an impressive series over the years, releasing such jazz albums as Ella & Louis, We Get Requests, and a variety of Bill Evans titles. It would seem they are continuing the excellence through 2024, although not every title is something I'm going to grab.
