We take our Lance 825 Truck Camper to Palisade, Colorado - a desert oasis on the western slope that grows the tastiest peaches in the country. Not only do we pick peaches fresh off the trees at a U-Pick farm, we also stay at a campground right on the bank of the Colorado River with incredible views of Grand Mesa, drive the Fruit and Wine Byway to visit local farm stands for fresh produce and more peach goodies, and indulge in a wine tasting at one of several local vineyards in the area.
