How to Run a Game in TaleSpire - Part 1 - Content, Scene Mapping, Getting Boards

Описание к видео How to Run a Game in TaleSpire - Part 1 - Content, Scene Mapping, Getting Boards

This video is the first in a series for quickly getting a gaming group having fun in TaleSpire. In this video I describe how to go from pre-made content to selecting the appropriate board type for different scenes in your game.

NOTE - I'm pretty sure the audio is terrible, I gave myself one day to put this together and I REALLY didn't want to re-record everything :(

OUTLINE
1. Get your content.
There are many guides online for writing your own content and places to get pre-made modules. Go do that!

2. Map out your scenes.
For each planned scene, determine the type - theatre of the mind, battlemap, or hybrid between the two.

3. Based on your scenes, go get appropriate boards.
* For battle scenes - Find cool, open environments/dungeons which will allow tokens, and the camera, to move around easily.
* For hybrid scenes - Find any board which will enhanced the planned roleplay, with a focus on ambiance more than combat maneuverability.
* For my Game Ready boards, become a patron!   / demongund
* BONUS - To REALLY save time, consider using a random terrain/dungeon generator.
