We originally planned to enter the trail from Silver Lake north shore and drive southbound to Mud Lake or Bear River Reservoir before exit. But we did not find the entrance in north shore of Silver Lake for 4x4, only found a bike/hike trail. So we changed our plan to enter the trail from Bear River Reservoir and drive northbound. We drove off the Pardoe Trail/Squaw Ridge Trail near the Horse Thief Spring, and exited to HW88 at Tragedy Spring. The rest part of Pardoe/Squaw Ridge Trail is to an dead end near the Kirkwood.
