GC: Cusp build up of a molar with G ænial Universal Injectable

Описание к видео GC: Cusp build up of a molar with G ænial Universal Injectable

In this video, you can see how an anatomically shaped, strong Class II composite restoration can be made with a low-viscosity injectable composite. Because it is a large cavity, it is necessary to select a dental composite with mechanical properties suitable for this purpose. G-ænial Universal Injectable® from GC is very strong and wear resistant, so no covering layer is required. After placing the rubber dam, an anatomically shaped matrix system is placed. G-Premio BOND is used as an adhesive in the selective enamel etching mode. The proximal wall of the tooth is built with the Junior Enamel shade (JE) and light cured. Thereafter, the matrix is removed. For the deep layers of dentine replacement, a darker shade (A4) is used. No composite instruments are needed to create large restorations with this technique; the material can be manipulated and shaped simply with a small probe. It is placed in small sections and shortly light-cured to avoid the build-up of shrinkage stress. Because it does not slump, it’s easy to create a nice anatomic shape. Thanks to the bendable tip on the syringe of G-ænial Universal Injectable every corner or void of the restoration can be reached and filled. It has an excellent wettability that ensures a tight adaptation to the cavity walls. The application of Gradia Air barrier facilitates the finishing and polishing steps.
