March Walleye and Sauger Fishing!! (Mississippi River)

Walleye Fishing Freaks!!! Welcome to the first open water fishing trip of the 2023 season here on Too Fat To Hunt Outdoors! Today we are out in my Skeeter Boat for the first time of the year and we are joined by the Walleye Master himself, Mr. Leadmine Lunker! We are on the main channel of the Mississippi River fishing around the lock and dam and a few windams, searching for some walleye and sauger. Hair jigs and ball head jigs tipped with minnows were the baits that put fish in the boat today, and I might add...I got SPANKED!!
