The original recording sessions took place in 2001-2002, with many actors recording their lines alone in sound booths — never meeting their animated characters until the premiere. In this video, we imagine what it would look like if those animated characters could step out of the screen and finally stand beside the real humans who gave them their voices, 23 years later.
