My wife took the initiative this year and grew a flat of Aji Amarillo peppers under grow lights in our kitchen. This variety of pepper is used in Peruvian cuisine.

We have grown our peppers in earth box planters for many years. These planters are not organic as you add a balanced fertilizer for slow time release feeding. I have grown peppers for years in these boxes but they are also good for many other types of crops such as eggplant and tomatoes. These planters are great for people with limited garden space and we always get a bumper crop.
