With massive thanks once again to S&G Productions, we have another video made by Peak Rail Volunteer Stuart Graves.

Following months of hard work and preparation, the much awaited visit of Flying Scotsman took place between 29th July and 6th August 2000.

People flocked to Peak Rail from far and wide. Over 20,000 visitors came to see and ride behind the worlds most famous locomotive.

Throughout the 9 day period Flying Scotsman worked top and tailed trains with the railway's then resident Hunslet austerity (J94).
