The Medal of Honor is America's highest and most prestigious personal military decoration that has been awarded to recognize U.S. military service members who distinguished themselves by incredible and often self-less acts of valor. This series is an attempt to bring some of these stories to life so that these men and their comrades are not forgotten. We hope everyone learns something… and remembers these men and their moment when they acted without regard to personal safety and performed "above and beyond the call of duty."
