TRAVEL // 馬拉喀什 Marrakech , Morocco // 2018

The first minute was my one day layover in Barcelona , for everyone who only wants to watch about Marrakech please go forward to 1:21:)
So my luggage was lost by Vueling Airline the way from Mykonos to Barcelona , they found me and my friend’s 4 days later and sent them to Marrakech for us, but my other friend’s suitcase is GONE gone with everything inside and never get to contact anyone and claim any money. Please consider clearly before you take any flight with this airline or easier is to handcarry everything. It’s definitely not a good experience if you could imagine.

For Marrakech , I highly recommend you can hire a tour guide for the first day to walk around everywhere , and it was super cheap like $40USD for half day if I don’t remember it wrongly , It was suggested by the concierge of El Fenn and I’m glad that we did it, he can make you feel secure and know more about the culture , the people and the city. If you’ve been heard of, the Moroccan you can see on the street are really passionate about woman, just the same feeling I had when I was in Turkey. They ask you to take pictures with them, to marry them etc, if it doesn’t make you feel comfortable, the best reaction is to smile and walk away. That’s what I did. However , they don’t really touch you , but looking at you and trying to talk to you .

There was a beautiful day we got to the top of the hill and enjoyed our best day in Marrakech , we booked it from El Fenn and don’t think any other agency have the same tour as it was quite private and limited. I suggest you can go El Fenn and ask about it but I am not sure if you can book it without staying at their hotel. Even you’re not staying with them you should still have a tour or a drink in El Fenn , it’s worth a check out. P.s : Madonna just left the day we arrived !!! She was spending her birthday there !!!
