Racy Shukla Sharing the experiences from her recent trip and relating to the life lession Her educational qualification is a Major in Chemistry, who later changed her field completely and did Masters in social work counseling. Later on, she completed a certificate course in therapeutic counseling as well. Followed up by working as a therapist for 2 years.
Racy’s journey outdoors started with the Siachen glacier trek, which was then followed by Basic mountaineering, Advance Mountaineering and Search and Rescue Mountaineering course. All with A grade.
To Aid her hard skills in mountains she entered the world of Experiential education and found peace in the minimalist lifestyle she experienced.
From leading an All-women US expedition in Zanskar valley to Virgin peak to All men expedition, her career has seen it all. She strongly believes in challenge by choice, and has contributed willingly for various treks which were at high altitude. From Ladakh to Uttarakhand, she has led treks throughout the Himalayas This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
