How to blanch and freeze spinach so it won't go bad

I almost always buy too much fresh spinach (it's such a better deal when you buy it in bulk) so I often blanch and freeze most of it for later. I love using frozen spinach in palak paneer (a spinach curry you can find my recipe for here:    • Palak Paneer - Vegetarian Indian Food  ) or in lasagna.

Oh, and you can just eat the blanched spinach, too, of course.
