Dialysis systems that divert blood through a circuit outside the body Ventilators that help patients breathe, Haemofiltration and other life support machinery, Defibrillators and monitors that measure vital body functions, such as heart rate and brain activity, Infusion pumps and syringe drivers that deliver drugs to patients.

Students are routinely participate in the ICU audits with various parameters including infection rates are monitored to help their technical skills and redefine their care as per current standards

The scope of this course is tremendous in our country. Apart from working as B.Sc Critical care technician, Critical care Educator, Critical care project Manager and Trainee Critical care technology in hospitals.
