How to Propagate Native Honeysuckle from Cuttings

Описание к видео How to Propagate Native Honeysuckle from Cuttings

Native honeysuckle plants are great for pollinators like hummingbirds and are gorgeous landscape plants. Our honeysuckle has been a standout show stopper for years but I need to make some cuttings so we can move this amazing plant to our new home. In this video I take cuttings and show the process, what type of cutting to take, and stick the cuttings in a rooting medium. In a few weeks I should have some roots forming on these plants. This is Lonicera sempervirens but there are a couple other native honeysuckles you can try.

Fragrant Native Honeysuckle:
Lonicera canadensis - American honeysuckle
Lonicera x brownii - Brown's Honeysuckle (Hybrid of L. sempervirens and L. hirsuta)
Lonicera hirsuta

Check out the other honeysuckle video I did a while back to feature this beautiful vine!    • Plant This Honeysuckle, Not That Hone...
