Making a flemish twist bowstring (build along)

Hey there.

So a lot of my followers across social media, have requested a video on how to make a flemish twist bowstring.

It's here... And I decided to pair it up with making my first string from flax cord.
Normally I use B55 string, but since I have lately dug more into medieval methods, I decided to try out flax.
For this one, I went for 0,8mm 4 strand cord. Going forward, I will be using a 5 strand 0,43mm cord, because this better let's me control the overall thickness and strength of the string.

For making this string you need the following:

1. String material (if you don't have string material yet, you can practice with whatever type of cord/string you have).

2. Something to wrap the cords around, when making the bundles. Nails on the wall will do fine, but I use clamp, because I have multiple lengths, without hammering more nails in the wall.

3. A knife, to cut the cords.

4. Perhaps some stringwax or bees wax, to apply if your string loses wax along the way, and for future maintenance.

The video is long, because I opted for a build along type video. So the video is basically in real time, and you should be able to take your time, as you make your string.
