Movie Plot:
Set in a rural college town, I Love You follows Kishan, a poor but spirited student who lives with his mother and grandmother. He frequently clashes with Radha, the pampered daughter of the ruthless landlord Thakur Gajendra Singh, who dominates the village with fear. Their fiery arguments slowly give way to affection, and love blossoms between the two.

However, their romance faces brutal opposition from Radha’s father, who despises Kishan’s humble background. Gajendra Singh sends his henchman Maan Singh to eliminate Kishan, unaware of a shocking truth—Kishan is actually his own son from a hidden past. This revelation sets off a chain of emotional confrontations, identity crises, and moral reckonings.

The film explores themes of class divide, hidden lineage, and the power of love to challenge oppressive authority. With dramatic twists and heartfelt moments, it builds toward a resolution that tests familial bonds and personal courage.

The movie marked the Bollywood debut of Tamil actor Prashanth, and was a Hindi remake of the Tamil hit Vaigasi Poranthachu (1990). Music by Raamlaxman features soulful tracks like “Kaash Koi Meri” and “Tu Mere Aage”, sung by legends like Lata Mangeshkar and S. P. Balasubrahmanyam.
