The 2017 American Music Awards were broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California — however, Lady Gaga was not physically there. She was performing on the Joanne World Tour at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. and her performance was shown to the AMA audience remotely.
