The Valve Clinic is the Leading TAVI Team in India, performing the highest number of TAVI cases in Mumbai.

On 10th February 2023, we conducted a complex TAVI procedure at Symbiosis Speciality Hospital, where we made use of Impella, an artificial heart pump device, to conduct the angioplasty of an 83-year-old male diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis, bad lungs & 99% of blockage in all the arteries - a very risky candidate for open-heart surgery.

We decided to use the Impella for conducting the Angioplasty followed by Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) procedure.

The entire TAVI procedure was conducted successfully by the team of doctors at Symbiosis Speciality Hospital. The procedure also was one of the first TAVI procedures executed with the help of Impella device in India.
