SV3C PTZ WIFI Outdoor IP CAMERA REVIEW

Today we are going to talk about SV3C 1080P WiFi PTZ Security Outdoor Camera.

Camera FEATURES -

Build Quality:

When it comes to Build Quality. SV3C PTZ wireless camera body is made of Metal and rated weatherproof IP66. The PTZ Camera costs $220 at the time of this review, which is on the high side so we have to see either camera can live upto its price.
Camera’s overall dimension is standard, and weighs around 5 lbs, which is on the heavy side, but understandable considering its metal construction.





Features:

2MP 1 /2.8” Sony CMOS Sensor, with 8x optical zoom, can tilt 90 degree, and can pan 355 degree to cover more ground. Camera’s high performance sensor chip supports H.265 compression format and Support 128GB MicroSD card to store videos.

SV3C PTZ Camera features Intelligent Night Vision technology which uses all its 6 IR LEDs to enable a super long distance night vision up to 196 ft. This is a great distance on the paper, but we have to test to confirm.

PTZ Camera supports 355 degree pan, 90 degree Tilt, Auto Focus, Adjustable motion detection, Two way Intercom, and support mobile phone App for Android or IOS devices.



CAMERA SETUP:

Camera setup was very simple and straightforward. The included instructions are well detailed, and give you step by step instructions to complete the initial setup. You must connect the Camera’s Ethernet port to your router or modem for the camera to be discovered on the network. Once initial setup is configured you can switch to WIFI connection by setting up the WIFI in the camera settings.

CAMERA APP:

After Installing and Launching the App, You can add the camera in the App by selecting search camera on the network. Camera’s App will auto detect the camera on the network and allows you to configure camera’s admin username and password.

Camera’s App has very simple interface, and has tons of features or settings to choose from. You can also control the camera’s movements like Pan, Zoom, Tilt, Auto Focus from the App. App also supports gesture controls, and you can control the camera's left, right, up and down movements by swiping your fingers on your mobile device.



VIDEO QUALITY:

Accessing the Camera’s microSD slot is very simple by removing the 4 screws on the back of the camera dome, but adding microSD card is a little bit tricky, but manageable. The Camera captures good quality FULL HD video with H.265 video compression to ensure smooth video playback and save storage space. The Daytime and Night vision image quality is quite good for a WIFI connection and you can adjust the Bitrate. WIFI connection was solid, and we never had any Wifi Connection issue during our test, even at distance upto 50 feet from the WIFI router.

Camera produces good colors and clear picture during day time with nice sunlight. 18X Optical zoom is very useful to capture distant objects, and zooming in and out is very smooth.



FINAL Thoughts:

SV3C 2MP FHD outdoor PTZ Wireless IP Camera is one of the most EXPENSIVE PTZ Camera in the market, and comes with great features like 196 FT Night Vision, 18X Optical Zoom, 2 Way Audio, Metal Construction, and ability to Record Full HD Day and Night Videos on 128GB microSD card.

During our test camera was able to produce good day and night video results along with great motion detection capabilities. SV3C PTZ Camera can be used wirelessly, or can be connected to you LAN for more stable reliable connection.

With that said, I have no problem recommending this camera to anyone who is in the market for PTZ Wireless Outdoor Security Camera, if they are willing to pay the premium.
