With over 50 miles of trails at Griffith Park, it can be hard to figure out which one to hike and where are the best views. I personally love hiking on the south side of the park, near the Griffith Observatory.

This is the Mount Hollywood Trail and it has some of the best views in the park!

Here's what you need to know about hiking the Mount Hollywood Trail at Griffith Park in Los Angeles:

Park at the Greek Theatre which is free and open to the public on non-event days. I prefer to park here since parking just outside the Griffith Observatory is usually crowded and $10/hour!

On the trail, you'll get views of the Downtown LA skyline and the Griffith Observatory

Continue up to Dante's View or Captain's Roost for more epic views and don't forget to stop at the Berlin Forest on the way back
