Fox River Tramper Hiking Sock Review

The Fox River Tramper sock is part of their Hike/Trek line and I tested it out and did a quick review. The sock is a medium weight crew style and has a really nice thickness to it that gives some really nice additional padding. I hiked in a really rocky area and the padding paired with my boots really protected my feet from the jagged edges of the rocks. The socks ran a little big. I wear a size 9 shoe which is the smallest size for the Large sock and it was too big for me and I should have gone with a medium. The make up of the sock is also 41% Merino Wool, 41% Acrylic, 16% Nylon, and 1% Spandex. The added Acrylic makes the sock a little less breathable and keeps heat in and the socks did get a little warm but I hiked on a 60 degree day which for me was too warm for these socks.
