The purple base is rescuable, and unlocks Hydralisks which are critical to handle Scouts in this mission! The enemy frequently sends a lot of Scouts to hit your base! Other than that, their waves of attacks by Zealots and Dragoons are numerous and strong. You will need a lot of Sunken and Spore Colonies, and best plant them strategically to keep your troops and base alive.

At early game, the only anti-air you have is Draliska and Spore Colonies until you rescue purple Zerg base. So it is prudent to get there asap, so I tried to run pass the Photon Cannons standing between you and Purple Zerg base.

Cancelling the upgrade which Purple Zerg has started somehow would cause the game to crash. That's why I didn't cancel the partial upgrade from Purple's Evolution Chamber. Please avoid it.

StarCraft: Brood War Alternate, created by StratosTygo, and further developed by UEDCommander, is the retelling of StarCraft Brood War campaign of which the races are swapped. Zerg is now Terran, Protoss is now Zerg, Terran is now Protoss. This is a veteran campaign of which its difficulty is significantly harder than usual.
