Ukami is a sushi restaurant that delivers a local interpretation of far east dishes. They have coined the term mayapanese to describe their mexican-japanese fusion foods. Delectable examples include the yuca gyoza (gee-oh-zah), teriyaki octopus taco, taco xcatic (es-kah-teek) tempura (shrimp relleno), and the spicy salmon tostada. The food, delivery, and atmosphere are all top notch.

This famous off-the-grid open-air restaurant is the epitome of locally sourced cuisine executed to a tee. It is famous for their rustic-chic atmosphere, tasteful dishes and lengthy reservation list that can fill months in advance. The owners have successfully brought a world-class dining establishment to Tulum - along with the upscale clientele. During our off-season visit, this was the only restaurant with a wait and packed with customers.

Estrada

Estrada has perhaps the best, freshest coastal cuisine in Tulum. A family restaurant located within a Pueblo neighborhood, this is as close to home cooking as it gets. This restaurant also has the most diverse customer based - thanks to a seafood menu that attracts tourists and reasonable prices to lure locals. Come enjoy a truly authentic, elegant dining experience that is the fabric of Tulum dining!
