It combines the biblical verses of the Magnificat (Luke 1:46–55) with the refrain "More Honorable than the Cherubim." This specific recording is part of a collection preserving traditional hymns and chants from earlier centuries of Orthodox tradition.

English Text: "My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior. More honorable than the Cherubim, and more glorious beyond compare than the Seraphim, without corruption you gave birth to God the Word: true Theotokos, we magnify you."
