Terminal 2:
Jakarta Airport Terminal 2 is the second oldest terminal in the airport. It was opened in 1991. Is located in the west-north part of the airport and has capacity for over 19 million passengers per year, even though its overcapacity.

The terminal building structure and distribution is similar to Terminal 1: It has three sub-terminals (2D, 2E and 2F), having each one 7 gates and 25 check-in counters.

Terminal 2 is primarily used for domestic flights, distributed as follows: 2D hosts some domestic flights, 2E hosts Lion Air, Batik Air and Air Asia flights and 2F is home of NAM Air, Sriwijaya Air and Indonesia Air Asia domestic flights.

Jakarta Airport Terminal 2 is divided into 2 levels, following the same structure as Terminal 1:

Ground level: It is the Arrivals level. Find the following services: Passport control, visa on arrival counter, customs, baggage carousels, information counter, currency exchange, lifts to the upper level and bus stop to connect to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

First level: Each sub-terminal has its own upper section, having similarities between them, like terminal 1: find a semicircle type shape building, with a central corridor and secondary corridors connected from it.

Each sub-terminal hosts 7 boarding gates: 2D (D1 to D7), 2E (E1 to E7) and 2F (F1 to F7).

Services and amenities available: VIP lounge, viewing gallery access, restrooms, disabled lifts, security check, smoking allowed area, musholla (mosque). In 2F, you can find the shopping arcade and the food court, among a hand wash facilities and ATMs and access to the level via the central stair.
