Hello ji,
Welcome to Episode 3 of Antarctica series. This was my second day in Antarctica and we started the day with some wildlife watching but the whales were not in the mood for some human fun today and the weather was absolutely crazy.
We did a 45 minute one way hike on Danco island, soaking in the dystopian views, watching penguins in their habitat and finally taking the polar plunge in the cold waters of Antarctica. It was quite an unforgettable experience.
In the evening, we visit an Argentinean Research Center which has been taken over by Penguins and then head towards Paradise Bay where the views were absolutely insane.
We ended the day by enjoying the silence of Antarctica, soaking in the views, the massive glaciers, the falling snow, it was like a frozen poetry.
