Spectacular Spendor D9 Loudspeaker Review and Listening.

We love all the speakers from Spendor, and like parents with kids your not supposed to have a favorite, BUT, we really like the D9.
The D9 design delivers outstanding amplifier compatibility, an authoritative reach into the low end of the bottom bass octave, and detailed resolution from its LPZ tweeter. The LPZ Tweeter, (Linear Pressure Zone) is a soft dome tweeter built around a stainless steel front plate that forms a damped acoustic chamber directly in front of a lightweight woven polyamide diaphragm. The front plate incorporates a phase correcting micro foil to equalize sound wave path lengths across the diaphragm surface, simultaneously it generates a symmetrical pressure environment on both faces of the tweeter diaphragm so the tweeter operates in a balanced linear mode. The result of the advanced tweeter is an amazing sound stage and image.
