Join me on a breathtaking 3-day journey along Luxembourg’s Lee Trail—a 53 km hiking adventure through the rugged, forested heart of the Éislek region. With two days of perfect weather and a mild third, this trail served up steep climbs, sweeping views, and peaceful woodland paths.

We stayed at a campsite about halfway and used Luxembourg’s free public transport (buses and trains!) to connect our start and end points each day—making the logistics surprisingly easy.

🗺️ Route Breakdown
1. Ettelbruck → Bourscheid-Moulin (~18 km)
This segment features forested paths, the Priedegtstull viewpoint, and a climb to Gringlee, offering views of Bourscheid Castle.
2. Bourscheid-Moulin → Hoscheid (~20 km)
The most demanding stage, with steep ascents and highlights like the Molberlee ridge and Napoleon’s Tree.
3. Hoscheid → Kautenbach (~15 km)
Concludes with a descent through woodlands and valleys, ending at Kautenbach railway station.

Just dropped the video from our 3-day hike on the Lee Trail in Luxembourg!
53 km of forest trails, epic views, and some solid uphill climbs. We stayed in a chalet at a campsite halfway and used free buses and trains to get around—super easy.
Had two days of sunshine, one a bit cloudy, but no complaints—amazing hike overall.

53 km door bossen, mooie uitzichten en stevige klimmetjes. We sliepen in een chalet op een camping halverwege en maakten handig gebruik van de gratis bussen en treinen—super makkelijk dus.
Twee zonnige dagen, één bewolkte, maar geen regen—perfect wandelweer!
