Aria and Dahlia face off in an Amublance match for the Gladiator Championship. Aria and Dahlia have been on opposing sides since Dahlia first appeared. Aria's resentment of Dahlia has also grown immensely due to her affiliations with Cassidy, but more so the brutal attacks on her sisters, Salem and Lucille. Aria wants to not only defeat Dahlia, she wants to remove her from play outright and throw the unescapable insult to injury by doing to her what she has done to her sisters.

Dahlia sees Aria as her object of validation in that she has to defeat Aria in order to demonstrate that she is the one to dethrone and end Jasmine Tarek and The Pure Bloodline. Dahlia has taken Jasmine's dismissal of her to heart and one may even be able to argue that she wants acknowledgement from Jasmine, but only as being a contender to her power base, which Jasmine has outright denied. Aria does see this as well, but cares little for Dahlia's desires to live up to her mother's memories, Cassidy's hopes, or building any kind of future for herself.

This is a contest of two young performers who've been trained by two of the best veterans in a fight for a championship that desires blood to be spilled for it's prestige.

Prior to this match, Scarlett met with Aria and passed a written note to her and merely told her "You owe me nothing, but make it count and yes, it's authentic and official."
