Joe and Bo | Learning to Pedal Summer 2022

I filmed Bo over the summer getting out and about on his bike. He started on a small 10" wheel scoot bike when he was 1, then we got him a bigger 12" wheel scoot bike and then, recently, he moved onto his Hope Academy pedal bike at about age 3 and a half.
We have found keeping his old bikes has been great as he still loves riding his tiny scoot bike and gets loads of fun out of each one.

Part 1. This is an impromptu garden session after Nursery.

Part 2. Laggan Trail Centre is perfect for kids and after a tow up the hill, Bo likes the Orange trail. The skills area by the Cafe is also ideal for messing about on.

Part 3. I had a pedal bike saved for when I thought he was big enough and had hidden it in the shed. But, he stumbled across it one day and was chuffed that it was for him. So we headed to the park and got his first ride in. I then got some footage at the pumptrack once Bo had properly got the hang of it.

Part 4. Just some good fun out and about. Small plastic ramps, a bit of pedalling and skids on the grass.
