VA Doctor's at the Captain James A. Lovell FHCC are routinely told to lie. This doctor denies her patient a medical exam required for the gym. She reveals the Chief medical executive Dr. Nils Anderson is instructing her (Because of the police escort) not to medically evaluate her patient for the gym, but, instead to send him to P.M.R. and they will do an assessment for exercise at appointed times. The Lovell VA is attached to the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. The Chief Medical Executive Dr. Nils Anderson, supposedly monitors and ensures ALL patients receive quality care at the North Chicago Illinois VA facility. ALL Veterans are cleared by their primary physician for exercise except this particular Veteran whom is clearly being singled out. Due to the VA police escort - her patient recieves squat.
The Lovell VA's director Dr. Stephen Holt has lied to Senator Mark Kirk and is lying to Senator Tammy Duckworth. In his letter the VA Director Holt claims to have carefully reviewed treatment records with his providers. Dr. Holt also claims the patients gym usage is not medically necessary. If Dr. Stephen Holt had actually reviewed the treatment records as he claims in his letter to Senator Kirk ; he would have known the Lovell VA Kinesiotherapist Donna Marchini documented medically necessary reasons in 2013 prior to Director Holt's supposed treatment record review. 1) History of multi joint pain 2) recommend continued exercise in the gym to prevent decline in current level of function 3) On 8/14/13 patient was escorted by the police and evaluated on 7/19/13 for a scheduled appointment in the KT Gym. Patient is no longer required to have a scheduled appointment to partake in the KT Gym wellness program except one time a year for a reassessment. 4) On 11/22/13 Patient came to office today and appeared extremely distraught , because, he was harassed by the police every time he comes to this facility. They do not understand that he is allowed to attend the KT Gym without an appointment. He went to the walk-in clinic and they also harassed him about being able to attend the KT Gym without an appointment...
