Multipurpose Compact Attachable Light Training Video

This video was developed by Marine Corps Systems Command's Product Manager Infantry Combat Equipment, or PdM ICE. The purpose of the video is to familiarize Marines with the use of the Multipurpose Compact Attachable Light. The MCAL is a hands-free light capable of being attached to the lightweight helmet and Enhanced Combat Helmet, as well as the Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment (MOLLE) weave on the body armor. It allows Marines to read maps, conduct maintenance/repairs, render first aid, and many other applications hands free in low-light conditions. The MCAL consists of three components: light, strap, and mounting kit. It features a rotating head that articulates 185 degrees and a durable belt/clothing clip.
