2014 BMW X5 M50d - sound, revs, onboard ride, overview

Jamboolio records a brand new 2014 BMW F15 X5 M50d M Performance, a big, premium class SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle) with three turbochargers, made by BMW's own M Division.

The engine in this model is a tri-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six diesel mounted to an 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission with paddle shifters, producing 381 horsepower and 740 Nm / 545 lb-ft of torque.
Besides that very powerful engine it also has the BMW xDrive four-wheel drive for the best traction. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time is 5.4 seconds, top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
Other models developed by the M division with the same engine are the BMW M550d, the M550d Touring and the X6 M50d .
