"Elastic Heart" was written by Sia, with the Weeknd and Diplo, for the The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, soundtrack. It was first released in October 2013 reaching number 7 in New Zealand as well as charting in Australia, Belgium, Switzerland & the UK.

In 2014, Sia re-recorded a solo version of "Elastic Heart" then released in 2015 as a single from the album accompanied by a video with Shia LaBeouf and dancer Maddie Ziegler.
