North Miami, Florida. The NoMi Food Pantry Program

This week the City of North Miami’s Mayor, Alix Desulme, Ed.D., attended the African American Mayors Association’s Annual Conference in Atlanta, GA. One of his highlights was accepting the $75,000 @ameribev Foundation for a Healthy America’s Nutrition Access, Affordability and Education Grant in recognition of the City-operated NoMi Food Pantry. Created by Mayor Desulme in 2019, the ever-growing NoMi Food Pantry provides free and nutritious food options to more than 700 North Miami households in need.
