Ranbir-Alia’s wedding: Alia's uncles Robin Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt skip her phera ceremony

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are now married and have embarked upon the new journey of their lives as husband and wife. The two tied the knot at the actor's Vastu house in Mumbai in the presence of the couple's close friends and family members. Many celebs like Kareena Kapoor Khan, her hubby Saif Ali Khan, filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, Luv Ranjan, and Karan Johar, and many others graced the wedding. However, what came as a surprise was Alia's uncles Mukesh Bhatt and Robin Bhatt's absence from the phera ceremony. Before the wedding, both Robin and Mukesh Bhatt had interacted with the media and spoke about this much-awaited marriage. While Robin Bhatt was sharing updates about the wedding dates and other ceremonies, Mukesh Bhatt was the one who had said that his sister-in-law Soni Razdan had requested not to comment or discuss the wedding until it is done. In a media interaction, on the question of Alia and Ranbir's marriage, Mukesh Bhatt said, 'I am not in a position to tell anything at this time. My sister-in-law (Soni Razdan) has asked to refrain from discussing anything about this marriage. After their marriage, I will give a complete interview about when and how the marriage took place.' Speaking about the marriage, friends and family members of both the groom and bride grooved to the tunes of dhol nagadas.
