Defenders of the Realm is a fully cooperative action economy game in which players will take on the role of a fantasy character in an effort of eliminating four generals before they reach the capital Monarch City. If a general reaches the capital, minions overwhelm the capital, minions need to be added but cannot, or the land is corrupted by too many tainted crystals, the players lose the game.
