✵When the interstate system was founded in 1956, there was an original map created, sending Interstates to all the most important routes between large American Cities. Every highway served a purpose for the United States. This is why when I found Interstate 180 in Illinois, I was a little confused. This is a 13 Mile long Interstate spur route, Stretching from I-80 near Princeton, down to the small town of Hennepin. There is way more to this Interstate than meets the eye. So today I’m going to tell you about the US Interstate That goes Nowhere.
