So, after the Mezzo Pazzo shorts, I moved on to this. Cheese Dude was an old character of mine, whom I created when I was 12 for my "Crazy Joe" series of comics. He was actually originally named Cheeze Dude, due to my lack of spelling skills back then, however, when people corrected me, I told them it's because he's from the planet "Cheeze" and said it was intentional. Despite all that, upon release of this on 2005, I still spelled it correctly as "cheese".

As a chracter, there wasn't much to him, he was simply a stick figure with buck teeth (yet no mouth), and he had one large wavy antenna sticking out of his head, hence his alien backstory. In the Crazy Joe comics he would simply run around, and all he could do was say "cheeze", occasionally I'd add in subtitles to translate what he was saying, however, a running joke was Crazy Joe always interpreting what he said as something entirely different from the subtitles. (i.e. Cheeze Dude would say "Cheeze cheezecheeze cheeze cheeze." and the subtitles would read "hey, you're really dumb" and Crazy Joe would respond with "oh, YEAH, you're right, the weather is really nice right now!")

Getting back to the animation, I believe I finished the whole thing... made it loop, and THEN put in the music at the end, hence why none of the animation is timed with the music. In the original Flash version, the music loops indefinitely, and upon the second viewing, the music would be in sync with a different part of the video. I actually intended for that to happen at the time, although I don't remember why. As for why I chose this song... I believe it's just because It was the first one that came up on random.

This was planned to lead into more stick figure animations in this art style (however not with the stupid looping and music), but I never got around to doing any others. I actually think this art style is quite nice in it's simplicity, and may go back to it one of these days.
