I work from home so I'm always with my dogs and sometimes they start to drive me nuts.  They want to play or they want attention and don't understand that I can't do that all day long.  I love to give them bones ones and while to keep them occupied but that can get expensive to keep buying more bones with filling.  Instead, I save the hollow bones and make my own filling to add to it once the dogs have licked it all out.  Here I've listed my 3 go-to dog bone filling recipes.

Dog Food Filling:
1 can of any dog food - ones with chunks are better
Dog treats - a small handful

Pumpkin Filling:
1 can of pure pumpkin filling
1-2 cup of dry dog food. If using regular dog food, use 1 cup. If using freeze-dry, use 2 cups)

Peanut Butter Filling:
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup peanut butter
Dog treats - a small handful
