Back Home in Cannes | Real Life, Garden Finds & a Teen Shein Haul 🌿

After the most magical time away in Athens for our anniversary, there’s nothing quite like coming home. I always find travel helps me reflect and appreciate the slower moments — the real life, the routines, and the quiet beauty in the everyday.

In this vlog, I’m sharing a gentle day in our life since returning to Cannes. It’s a little mix of everything — a morning walk into the city with Ryan, a wander through the local markets, and popping into Aldi where I found the best bargain plants (two agapanthus for just €9.99 each!). They’re in full bloom right now and I can’t wait to see them thrive in the garden.

Later, I pick up Nancy from school — she’s excited to open a little Shein order she placed with her pocket money. As much as it’s not where I’d personally shop, I totally understand the appeal for teens who are exploring their style and having fun with fashion on a budget. She shows us what she picked up!

I also share a few lovely bits I brought back from Athens, including a special anniversary jewellery piece I’ll treasure forever. And of course, a cosy moment making a late lunch to break my fast.
