In 2020, Poland’s presidential elections went ahead despite the then ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, the ruling Law and Justice party attempted to organize a vote amid the crisis, bypassing procedures and acting unlawfully, according to the newly released parliamentary commission report concluded earlier on Thursday.
