Search, rescue and recovery operations have been finalised at the scene of a fatal bus crash just off a bridge near Louis Trichardt in Limpopo.

Twenty people died and more than 60 others were injured when a bus collided with a cash-in-transit van on the N1 highway on Monday evening.

Survivors have been returning to the scene of the crash to seek closure.
