Welcome to Seoul, South Korea! We're spending a couple of months exploring this amazing country and we're already in love with all this place has to offer! From delicious food, to rich culture and traditions, this place has it all. The Seoul we're experiencing might not be the one you expected to see in our video today. This country is surprising in all the best ways and we can't wait to share more South Korea content with you in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Seoul is such a beautiful city of contrasts! Modern skyscrapers, historic palaces, stunning mountains, and INCREDIBLE food!!!
We start the day in Gwanghwamun Square, rent traditional hanboks in Hanboknam Gyeongbokgun to visit Gyeongbokgung Palace (where you get free admission if you're wearing hanbok). For food we head to Michelin Bib rated Hwangsaengga Kalguksu for scrumptious mandu an kongguksu summer soy bean soup. We see the Blue House Cheong Wa Dae, former presidential palaces, Bukchon Hanok Village, Jogyesa Temple, and drink traditional Korean tea at Namusae Tea House. After spending the day on the historic side of Seoul, we head to Hongdae for the trendy, young side of Seoul where we enjoy K-pop song and dance performances, eat Korean BBQ at Saemaul and karaoke in a private room at SU Noraebang.
