Earth in Focus 5 - Carymoor

A group of five young DofE students from Ansford and King Arthur Schools took part in Somerset Film's 'Film in a Day' course that was hosted at Carymoor Environmental Centre. The students wrote their own script and chose to focus on the importance of cultivating wildflower meadows, tree planting (they have planted 300 at Carymoor) and building a Hibernaculum.

They all contributed their ideas to the script, the creation of the storyboard and planned the shot sequences. For many of them it was their first time speaking to camera.

The film tutors were Kevin Redpath and Richard Tomlinson who were ably supported by Chrissie Stacey from Carymoor Environmental Centre and staff from the two schools.
