The Things They Carried

In 1990, Tim O’Brien published a book about the Vietnam War. It followed a group of soldiers who each had their own physical and mental burdens that they carried with them, from before, during, and after the war. This film, responding to the book, follows a soldier who represents the entire cast of the book and his attempt to understand and come to terms with his experiences, regrets, and things he carried.
