The beautiful and small country of Costa Rica is full of rich biodiversity, with nearly a third of the land made up or natural reserves or national parks. The west coast of the country attracts surfers from all over the world. Here, we meet Eladio, who has chosen to make a new life for himself between the volcanoes and the sea. We then meet cowboy Manolo, who lives near the Nicaraguan border in San Juan one of the most isolated regions of the country. Finally we meet Claudine in the heart of the Corcovado National Park, a biologist who is fascinated by the forests unique wildlife.
