Tens of thousands of people lined the streets in the city centre of Cape Town for a belated, but highly anticipated Cape Minstrel Parade.
Traditionally celebrated on the 2nd of January and known as 2de Nuwe Jaar, the parade is a highlight on the Mother City's calendar.
